I absolutely loved it. Infact, I am already planning on watching it all over again! The love story of Gene and Cindy reminds me of Christian Slater and Patricia Arquette in True Romance and I think its meant to. The soundtrack is awesome and its particularly nostalgic for me as I was a teenager in the eighties - The way they use the songs to bring some of the scenes to life is genius. I know films have done this before but it felt like a fresh approach and believable. The characters are great, have depth and you learn to love or loathe them for their twistedness. The plot is great, the pace quick and I honestly can't wait to watch the final episode.. I can usually tell the outcome but I haven't got a Scooby Doo what will happen!!
