I noticed lack of Character development, and we aren't actually given any major new characters to see (we see tons of new side characters with no backstory). Too many side characters, and not essential main characters. We could have seen a compelling villain in this story, but instead we see the imaginary-fantasy evil storm. And it does not give lessons or life-long messages. It gives us another basic generic-story: work hard with a team to achieve accomplishment. This could be any generic movie, and I feel like a 3-year old made this movie. I understand it is for kids and I am 18, but that doesn't mean it can't give any life-long messages with sustenance (As we saw in the first movie). I truly expected new main characters, a villain with a backstory, funny-subtle comedy, memorable songs, and fewer side characters unimportant to the story. But after I watched it I forgot most of it and didn't feel satisfied.
