I cannot believe the arrogance and ignorance, of your interviewer tonight when questioning the Prime Minister, accusing the states of parochialism and several other adjectives. You are obviously angry that we won’t hand over our Pfizer vaccines to NSW. NSW hasn’t handled this situation well. We in SA locked down with 5 cases. Yes 5 cases and multiple hot spots. We didn’t wait until the numbers were too high for contact tracing to be impossible to be effective/ the speed of the rate of the virus spreading. Lockdown wasn’t done by suburb or region, only after the areas were infected, but was done to the whole of state, so that the spread could truly be stopped. Lockdown means lockdown here. Lockdown hurts every community in so many ways, not just NSW communities. Short and effective lockdowns, are going to affect any community, less than a prolonged lockdowns. Going in hard and fast has proven to be effective. NSWs rhetoric has been of Gold Standard and been critical of other States. That system hasn’t worked so now you criticise us on our desperation the protect our own community and hold onto what little Pfizer we have. NSW lives are NOT more important than the lives of those in other states. All states are desperate for more Pfizer vaccines. I know 40 year olds who are waiting over 3 months for their first Pfizer dose. Taking our vaccines and vaccinating people in areas already affected is not going to stop the spread in those areas. Staying at home will do that. Just remember that being vaccinated isn’t going to stop you from spreading the disease. I found your attitude incredibly offensive.
