i love this movie so much. it was very platonic and emotional for me. it wasn’t cliche where the boy falls for the girl but it’s about developing a beautiful friendship. This wasn’t supposed to be a romantic teenage movie but the importance of friendship featuring a boy and a girl SPOILER. i also love how ironic the last scene was because remember when ellie and paul were watching a movie and there was a guy chasing after the girl on the train and how ellie thought that was trite and moronically of them for crying but in the when paul chased after her she was crying but laughing and called him a moron. 🍍🦉🐛+👓
