Aurora Ripley

This anime is typical of the action genre in Japanese manga. It idolises the human spirit to become stronger using technique, spirit and hardwork and has a orphaned boy as the main protagonist. Although it draws from anime classics such as Astro boy and mirrors aspects of One piece and Dragonball, it's tone is far more serious, thoughtful and sinister. It cleverly captures how the innocence of childhood is overwhelmed by the desire to emulate the adults you love. Gon becomes stronger to find his father and Killua develops strength to escape his father. All of the story arcs are relevant and necessary to the character development and allow the viewer to understand the characters reasons behind their actions. Definitely worth watching
