Both my wife and I really enjoyed GOT. While we don’t get off on watching indiscriminate violence, somehow it it seemed to fit and didn’t seem to drag the show down in any way. And while only a very few characters in GoT were truly likeable, they were almost always fascinating, nevertheless. From the opening scene to the last, we were still hoping to be drawn in but were pretty much bored the entire hour plus. We were in a good headspace so I don’t think it was us. We will try again next week but at this point, my opinion is “been there, done that”. We were hoping for so much more and we were just extremely disappointed and well, just really bored.
