Not my favorite book of this series so far. After reading River Marked I was starting to get a bot lost in the rambling on of different aspects of the story. Frost burned was no different. I lost interest by the 5th chapter. It dragged on and there seemed to be more story telling about side issues than the actual main story. Then the last chapter held all the good stuff and it was over. It felt like the author started with a great idea but had no real story so it was filled with nonsense. I plan on reading the next book because I already bought it but if it's the same I won't be continuing with the series. Which really is a shame because I love Mercy amd Adam and I really want to see Mercy discover and use all her hidden powers!
