I loved all of the To All The Boys movies and was curious about this one since I also love kdramas, but I’m literally halfway through the 3rd episode and I don’t want to finish. Kitty’s character is cringy, annoying, naive, loud, and flippant. And after reading how the series continues on with all the LGBTQ+ narrative taking front seat and drowning the plot, I’m not interested. This is a diverse world so the characters should be diverse. And for Kitty to be in a like 3 year relationship with Dae but then decide to randomly be in love with a girl right after they break up and for no reason, again cringe. I have yet to find a kdrama/western drama mix that isn’t awkward and cringy. Western dramas put too big a focus on lust and sex, it distracts from the beauty of true and long lasting love and relationships. I wish Yuri and Kitty could have just become best friends and there didn’t have to be a forced LGBTQ+ agenda. And love triangles are gross and cliché. This is my opinion, and apparently there are people who disagree, but I won’t be finishing this series, which is sad cause I liked most of the actors’ work and portrayal of their characters, just a terrible plot and forced agenda.
