I read the reviews for “Tell Me Everything.” Most were very good/good and then I noticed that Oprah had selected the book for her book club. I was sold and looked forward to adding it to my Kindle. The book was written by Elizabeth Strout. I began reading with enthusiasm but little by little, it began to fade. Nevertheless, I continued to read, hoping things would improve. Sometimes they did, sometimes they were worse. When I read the part when a character was forced to drink her “pee,” I cringed and felt sick. I’m sorry, maybe I’m old fashion but that’s the way I see it. Not sure that I will read another book by the author.
