This novel is enjoyable... semi sci-fi/historical fic blend. A fast read that's well crafted. It has also encouraged me to want to read Shelley's Frankenstein. A classic I've never been inclined to read until now, thanks to McGill's novel. Mostly to further explore the obsession with scientific experimentation during the Victorian era.
