Alias Emma was a delightful, easy book that kept me engaged and always captivated to continue on to the next chapter.
The author, Ava Glass, perfectly balances a 24 hour timeline of Emma Makepeace, a British Intelligence Agent working to save a contact and get them to a safe location, with short flashbacks that support the skills and character of the young female spy.
For consideration of younger readers, the book contains violence commonly associated with spy and adventure genres (chases, hand-to-hand combat, weapons, one murder scene, and descriptions of injuries), mild adult language, and light romance culminating in a few kisses and some hints towards further intent.
This book is also available in a fantastic audiobook with a length of 8 hours and 15 minutes.
