Alias Emma was a delightful, easy book that kept me engaged and always captivated to continue on to the next chapter. The author, Ava Glass, perfectly balances a 24 hour timeline of Emma Makepeace, a British Intelligence Agent working to save a contact and get them to a safe location, with short flashbacks that support the skills and character of the young female spy. For consideration of younger readers, the book contains violence commonly associated with spy and adventure genres (chases, hand-to-hand combat, weapons, one murder scene, and descriptions of injuries), mild adult language, and light romance culminating in a few kisses and some hints towards further intent. This book is also available in a fantastic audiobook with a length of 8 hours and 15 minutes.

I had the opportunity to read Positive Intelligence while being a participant in the Million Dollar Grant for Coaches 8 week program. This is a great book for anyone that wants to label negative thoughts or identify what is holding them back from achieving personal and professional potential. It identifies your 'Saboteurs' and provides practical, easy strategies for increasing your 'Sage' perspective. The last section even includes a series of work and life applications as well as great case studies. I highly recommend this book and have only chosen to rank as a 4 because there are some practices that lean more into therapy or counselling instead of coaching for my taste of content.

Red Rising may start out slow to some readers, but know that the content will be critical in the second half of Red Rising and the books to follow. The more I read, the more I am pulled in to the drama.
