Hereditary esque spook level that leaves you asking, what if… did you see? And what about the part when… Once I saw Nicholas Cage’s name appear in the opening credits I immediately said this is gonna suck or be very good. His performance is superb, as he creeps about in so much makeup he’s near unrecognizable. Fresh story with a unique spin on your typical crime solving narrative that involves satanism. There’s no sacrificed animal carcasses or candles forming the shape of a pentagram. But there some cliches which had to be used quite frankly. Loved this one. Great soundtrack and although It’s not a perfect film, I quite enjoyed it and I’d give it the highest recommendation. Don’t go looking for holes and you won’t find many here.
