Sloppy story with poor writing throughout. pretty basic hack and slash mechanics with a low amount of true enemy variety. many many mechanics are stuffed in with little thought other than as a time sink (why is there a timer on required resources?). The inventory management is a pain and dramatically slows the pace of the game.

A soulless remake. It cuts all the charm and personality of the original to focus on good realistic graphics. With that being said focusing on that leaves all the faces largely expressionless and blank, In attempts to be more grounded they cut almost all of the musicals. Also the audio is atrocious some actors mics pop and they frequently are too quiet to hear over other sound effects. Honestly not worth your time compared to the original but if you want a worse version of a good story with amazing CGI you found it.
