I’m a fan of horror, but I would call this disturbing rather than scary. All the “horror” moments are just extremely descriptive gore. I’m not a fan of that type of horror personally, I find it lazy and gross. The author is very good at helping the reader visualize the story in great detail with his descriptive writing, but the story was lacking

This book was honestly a huge let down. The plot twist made absolutely no sense. The ending wasn’t in line at all with the POV of the characters through the entire book. Felt like she wrote the book without planning it at all
