-The character 3D CGI is painful to look at (Play-Doh hair). The art is inconsistent...door handles are beautifully ornate but outdoor scenes and cityscapes are sparse, unpopulated, empty. I know humans are almost extinct.
-The first minute of story is exposition; show us...don't tell us. Not every sci-fi show needs a Star Wars scroll. The idea of sustainable war is a placeholder word for "crime" the evil characters do.
-Example: evil boxer punches the head off of a rich guy (no really) = boxer is doing a sustainable war (crime) one person at a time.
-I've enjoyed and watched previous versions of Ghost in the Shell multiple times and each update tried to fit within our world's perspective.
-This anime isn't horrible, but where was the creative bar set?
-But SAC_2045 feels like it was created using a checklist.
-The committee that created SAC_2045 was given a bucket of $$$ by Netflix, but if the money wouldn't have been there how would this version of Ghost in the Shell look?
