Overall it was not my favorite read. The beginning was very slow but still interesting enough to keep reading. It was filled with metaphors. There are also a ton of characters to keep up with so that got confusing at times. I also somewhat predicted the end near chapter 40 and there are 87 chapters. When I read the summary of We Were Liars, it said it was a psychological horror… in my own opinion I thought it was more on young love and the drama side of things not really horror. I give this book a 3/5.
