Really thought provoking as to how the gentry were protected at the expense of the populas. The very idea that the gentry were thought to consider the populas as monkeys & apes shows why England myth of the cradel of civilisation is just so much rot .not hard to imagine how they became a world power by war and brutality .An excellent book .
