*Spoiler ahead* As a mom, I got really angry five minutes into the movie when the first child was killed in his bedroom, then during the sinking ship scene where Leta's infant brother drowns I broke into tears and left the theater. All other problems with the movie aside, I am HIGHLY disappointed that two children were killed in order to make the story. That's a whole new level of dark that didn't need to be reached, especially by someone whose stories I grew up with.
