I try to watch the show everyday. It needs to be stated that the opinions today about teachers were in regards to some public school teachers, especially members of a union. As a private school teacher, I feel it should be stated that private school teachers generally accept lower pay in order to teach without the regulations of the public school system. I retired last year, due to medical reasons. I currently tutor in the Christian school where I taught for nine years. The teachers in that school have been in the classroom all year. Credit should be given to those teachers who continue to work under difficult circumstances. In the future, please state that private school teachers should be thanked instead of criticized.
