I love it. They act like teen girls and dress like teen girls. Too many movies have way too old actors in way too tight and tiny clothes with way too perfect skin. Which can be the reality for some lucky girls but for the rest of us, isn’t the case. It’s just great to feel represented. There was mild outdated LGBT moments which was just the girls not wanting to be seen as gay and mild shock at a gay man being gay but it wasn’t violent or even homophobia

This movie was kinda flop. It just didn’t make sense. Jessica so should’ve told off Bridget for ditching her to be popular and why did she even end up being friends with those 2 randos, Mandy and whoever. They were mega mean to everyone the whole movie. Hope and Jessica have so much more chemistry and connection than Jessica and Marcus and it’s CLEARLY coded that they like each other. The Straights just had to throw in this random guy that she talks to twice so she can have a ”Boyfriend” As if her soulmate isn’t RIGHT FREAKING THERE. Also the CGI bee had me rolling cuz it was really sloppy. Also it was kind of lame that Jessica changes to fit in. It could be interpreted as character growth and a change in her tastes but it also feels like she just wears that stuff so other kids think she’s cool. The situations and the drama feel really unrealistic, like if some girl fell during a cartwheel I doubt the whole school would care. The best worst movie I’ve watched.
