First time leaving a review in my gaming history, as it doesn’t deserve 8/10 by IGN. Despite being left with mix feelings about the game, overall I would recommend skipping this one or waiting until it’s free on the PlayStation plus store. I’ve played every AC game in the franchise and this is hands down the worst. ( check my gaming history if you like, hellboyfft(PS5) ). Between the somewhat clunky free running, the main tilte screen that feels lagging while getting into the game and the sort 20-30 hour full completion/platinum trophy. This is not a game for long time fans or supporters of the franchise, rather more of an into for new plays with short attention spans. Gone away with the RPG format from the last 3 tiles (origins, Odyssey, Valhalla) and the new combat system we came to enjoy and find refreshing while still being able to complete missions in full stealth. Now we’re throwing back to dodge counter Kill as a “return to the roots” effort. Which I must say was far better with Ezio than what we have been given with Ubisoft latest release. Not worth the $89.00 NZD Glad not to have preordered or paid more, refund wanted
