So before I start let me say I do love this book but the first 175 pages were a chore to get through. We spend way too long on unimportant characters while one of the leads is MIA. Almost every section that isn’t from Simon or Baz’s point of view can be lightly skimmed over or just ignored all together. When it’s the two leads alone together is when the magic really happens (no pun intended). I do however love the book and recommend it highly.
