It would be easy to dismiss this film as bad, which it isn’t, as it thoroughly creates a sense of tension and ultimately horrific moments. The performances of the leads are very strong, the visuals are striking and serve the unsettling atmosphere well. The story itself seemed a little disjointed, and the third act didn’t seem to fit, but was provoking in putting together all that the audience has witnessed as the credits roll. Definitely not for everyone, and personally wouldn’t recommend seeing in theaters.
