While this game is terribly crude and racist, it is also the one game that lives in infamy due to its nature. It is known as one of the worst games of all time, which was done intentionally to mock the gaming industry with only 2 days of development. This game was only released on small floppy discs illegally, and also is super difficult to come around in a physical copy. This game has the audacity to even show what is believed to be a murder victim at the game over screen. It's rather discomforting to see it. No one knows if it is a real person, not even the creator himself, claiming he just took a video cassette from the stock shelves in a business. Whatever the case, while being a terrible game filled with racism and violence, it is also the most fascinating when it comes to the story of its development. Terrible or not, it has a cult following and will continue its legacy as one of the most terrible games of all time.

I remember in the 4-5 grade, these were the books I was nervous about reading. My school had two of the books were the originals, the third was the Brett Helquist version in their library. The one that always scared me was the Pale Lady. Her giant smile and small eyes and weird figure always scared me. I used to have nightmares of her peeking into my bedroom and slowly walking in to startle me while I slept. That was not my brightest times but then again, I was 10. I'm 19 now. Today, I read these books for nostalgia and now that the movie is out with Guillermo Del Toro as the director, I am more than happy to give these a review and just say, READ THEM. They are such good stories, just don't read them to your kids in the dark unless you wanna scar them for a while.
