I have written a novel, First Violin, set in Vienna and Mauthausen, 1938-1945. I am busy with the second novel in the trilogy, Concertmaster, 1945-1948, and find Anthony's book an invaluable resource. Novels for this period have to stick very close to history and and there is a creative and very positive interaction between what I am writing and histories with this detail.
