Alex Elbourne

Very well-made. Very well-cast. Very well-adapted. Reverent to Herbert, without being shackled to him. As massive, mythic and unsettlingly alien as anyone could wish for. The only potential flaws, though thematically appropriate, are a somewhat monochromatic visual style and a soundscape which might be grating for some. The second half risks plodding a bit and losing focus, but I genuinely love Dune and I am surprisingly eager for more sand.
