Dylan Reese

I really enjoyed this anime series. The characters are great and the overarching story is innovative. It even took some wild turns. It's bittersweet in that it was 26 episodes, but I also like an anime series with a meaningful end. The older I get, the less tolerant I am of 100+ episodes.

In 2006 when I first played the OG Yakuza 1, I never thought I'd still be playing this series and a Yakuza rpg, at that. I think this title deserves a 9/10. Of course I'm already an rpg fan but the way the rpg elements were executed were so well done. If you're a series veteran or new to it, give this one a try!
