Ray Thomas

I'm a longtime fan of the matrix series, and i have to say, this movie should been titled "The Matrix: Love Jones". With references to the previous movies littered throughout, this chapter felt totally different and sorta like the uninvited party crasher at the family bbq. Was it an action movie? Drama? Romance? I'll let you decide. My wife passed out 20 minutes in, and i was left questioning myself why at the 2hr mark still hoping for the movie to take off.

Great battle mechanic's, too many long and boring cutscenes.

I was hesitant at first, not sure about the direction of this film. After reading the reviews, i wondered how did it get a 4.5 star rating. After viewing the film, its not so much about fred hampton, its really about the betrayal, and showed there were many others informing to the fbi on all levels. I would say it was a good watch.

Good movie overall, the special effects were more polished and visually exciting. To sum it up quickly, this movie focuses on storytelling and less on the fighting. It felt like a prequel, and im still waiting for the main event. They left a lot of characters out, but that leaves the door open for the next movie or movies.
