i am overwhelmed with emotions as i am writing this. this drama took me on such a beautiful journey. the acting, script, plot and sets were all perfect and i am so impressed. i started watching the drama because of lee dohyun and go minsi but finished it because everything else was really good. there are romance, politics, family and historical values but everything was told perfectly. i was so immersed with the storyline and acting throughout the entire drama. i have come to realise that painful and sad endings are my favourite because it stays with me for a long time. i have never cried so much watching anything else. so kudos to the director and scripwriters for breaking my heart. i love this drama so much but i am really bad at putting it down in words. if you haven't watched it and looking for a reason why, here it is!

I adore this drama as it portrays real-life problems with real characters living their ordinary lives. I found myself getting immersed in the characters' worlds and feeling sympathetic for them. It shows how dreams are scary and not everyone achieves them. It shows how love and marriage can be scary in a lot of aspects. Horang and Wonseok's story was very sad to me, somehow. This drama made me think of love and the layers of it. The friendship between the three friends are special but not over the top. They are always there for each other but keep secrets from each other too. Lastly, this drama made me think about the struggles we go through every day in life.

This drama showed me a lot. I felt a lot of emotions throughout the drama. The drama shows a lot of family relationships and friendships. It made me appreciate these types of relationship more. One more thing reply 1988 taught me is to believe in the future. Don't worry too much if you don't have a dream or not on top of your class. Things will end up well for us :)
