I really enjoyed this movie. I know that there's been a lot of hate thrown at the Fantastic Beasts franchise, but I don't get it. I like the characters. I like the stories, and the effects are great. Lally Hicks is a great addition. Her character, and the way that she used magic were unlike any we've seen in the Wizarding World. Mads Mikkelsen was an excellent casting choice for Grindelwald. I didn't mind Johnny Depp as the character, but Mikkelsen played him perfectly. He should have been in that role originally. Jude Law was also quite good as Dumbledore, and the scene between him and Credence was touching and looked fantastic. Overall, it was a fun ride. The villain was properly menacing. The stakes seemed real. There are laughs and heartfelt moments. I will be seeing it again.
