This is my NON SPOILER review for Shazam. Where do I begin...I’ll start with the pros. Shazam has a lot of pros. Zachary Levi is a perfect fit and plays Shazam as he should be played. All his lines were delivered perfectly. Asher Angel as Billy Batson did a good job and delivered a strong performance. Jack Dylan Grazer as Freddie Freeman was a scene steller was very funny. Mark Strong as Dr. Sivana was played PERFECTLY, he was SOOO menacing and evil. He played the character with direction and purpose, he knew what he was doing. The supporting cast played their roles fantastically. Cooper Andrews and Marta Milans as the foster parents played their parts with a lot of warmth and caringness. The Chemistry between Shazam and Freddy was on point. The music throughout the film sounded a lot like John Williams and that’s what they were going for. The trailers hide so much cool stuff. There is a certain scene early on in a boardroom and it gets really dark. IT’S SO COOL. What you want to happen, does and in a really cool and funny way. Now for the cons. I didn’t have many issues for the film besides these two. I wish there were more action scenes.I feel like they were cut short. But for what we got I was happy. My other con was sometimes the CGI looked a bit funky, in some scenes. These are my only negatives and they're not huge. I was really just nitpicking. Make sure you stay for BOTH (2) end credits scenes, trust me they're worth it. I will do my SPOILER review sometime this week. Make sure you go see Shazam ASAP!
