SPOILERS:
Oppenheimer is not only the best movie of 2023, but also one of the best movies ever made. With its amazing acting, very compelling story/plot, and very clear message, there is no doubt in my mind that this is one of the best movies ever made. So with that said, here are my scores for the movie.
Dialogue: 5/5
Story: 5/5
Plot: 5/5
Pacing: 4/5
Acting: 5/5
Message: 5/5
Impact: 5/5
Characters: 4.5/5
Total: 38.5/40
Overall, the only two problems with this movie are the beginning thirty minutes (since it really isn't as interesting and seems to drag on a little bit), and how it got its R rating (because if I am being completely honest, Nolan should have taken a way different approach to getting an R rating). Other than those two minor things (which aren't even that bad), this movie is just amazing. Of course some people complain that there wasn't that much about the bomb, or that it's to slow.. But don't listen to those people (assuming you know what a real movie is). Sure it is a little bit of a slower movie, but that actually helps with the story and plot if you pay attention, and sure it really doesn't go through the process of the bomb in full detail, but again, let me remind those fools that the movie is called Oppenheimer, not The Atomic Bomb, or The Trinity Test. The movie was supposed to be more about the scientist, and not the bomb. I mean you should have literally been able to tell that just by watching the trailer. In the end though this is not only a very good movie, but also one of the best I have ever seen and I would totally recommend that you (as long as you mind a slower pace and know what a good movie is) watch this movie. Plus, this movie's ending is also the greatest ending in movie history!!!
