Holy smokes, the user reviews got it SO WRONG for once. Dull movie through and through. So many yeah right moments with the dogs. Please don't waste your time or money!

Sloppy, disjointed, too much song and dance.. but did I have fun? Yes. Despite being a bit disappointed, I feel in parts it was successful. What I didn't like? -The Delores ex wife character was unnecessary. Was she only in it for the trailer? -Too much modern music and music sequences. The soul train was so bad, should have been cut. -Recycling old bits from the first movie. It just felt lazy and going through the motions. They could have gone a different direction altogether and made a much better movie. Regardless, I laughed many times and felt nostalgic. Ultimately, it's just hard to compete with the classic..

The story is incredibly bad. Really awkward scenes especially when Emily Blunt's character stops production of the movie while she talks about her relationship over a megaphone in front of the whole crew for 10 minutes. It was painful. Could have been so much better without the contrived plot.
