The movie was great. It has its slow parts just like any other movie out there. Normally I'd give something like this 4 stars but I wanted to cancel out some of the 1 star reviews as alot don't make sense. Alot of people talk about the violence and beeped cussing and how this was inappropriate for their 8 yr old to watch, yeah it is, and you should be ashamed of yourself parent! It's a PG-13 movie, you knew what was bound to be in it. I saw the movie once when it first came out 6 years ago and I was 14 at the time, and I still enjoyed it. Second there were random comments that had nothing to do with the movie and told them to stay away, like one lady said her kid watched the movie, got her hair styled like the main character, and got bullied at school and therfore you shouldn't watch "this evil movie" like no b😂😂 Be a better parent. Alot of the 1 star reviews are just bad parents just letting their kids put on whatever and becoming tablet/TV children. Yall just need to grow tf up and stop blaming movies for your lack of parenting.

Me personally it would be 5 stars if it weren't for the kissing. Idc if the characters are gay or straight. I don't want my kid to see anything sexual unless it's me explaining it to him. Other than that, the movie is great. Animation 10/10 Voice Acting was 10/10 The length of the movie is just right, and the story behind the movie allows people to interpret it how they want. I can see the people's side who say that it's a movie about Christianity being oppressors and how this movie is going to "brainwash kids". But me personally, as a avid fan of movies, if you just watch the movie just to watch it, it's great. No need to analyze every single thing about the movie, bc if you do that to one you need to do it to all. It's not a propaganda movie, I'd say that it is a good movie for ages 15+ . I wouldn't show it to your little children just bc there IS violence, 1/2 of a cuss word, and again, the unnecessary sexuality.
