It had all the right ingredients, Guy Ritchie, fine cast, action scenes, historical interest, Special Forces/James Bond connection and expansive sets and budget. But it misses the mark by quite a way. Too many underdeveloped characters, poor pacing, sloppy storyline. I hoped for more and was bored and sadly let down.

Did we really need yet another Batman, this is a load of self indulgent clap. A long tedious film hindered by a lightweight Batman armed with a 6th form script and storyline and don't get me started on the poor special effects and action sequences, who ever heard of Batman getting his butt kicked. Don't let the critics fool you, this is a kings clothes of a movie, 7even meets Bladerunner, 2 masterful movies give birth to one howler of a film. Colin Farrel is excellent, the cinematography is sublime and the score by Giachinno is gripping but even they can't save it. What makes it worse is there's surely a sequel to follow.
