Such an amazing show. The determination, the will for a better life, the endurance of the people on the trails is so greatly depicted in 1883. I instantly felt connection with the character, Elsa, she is free, optimistic but yet a realist. I found a bond with all the characters in the show. I found myself crying for them and rooting for them and their journey. I can’t imagine life during these times and the strength to journey through danger for a better life and future. I found myself wanting to learn more about this era and the stories of those show lived through times such as these. I hope for more of this show with the cast remaining!
