I was riveted by this documentary. It shows how David Beckham moved from being one of the best footballers to being a global icon, all while maintaining a level of humility. His career arc was fascinating and I love how the series highlighted his career highs and lows. I remember watching the red card match and also thought, “What a fool”, but didn't realise the abuse Beckham faced at home. How hard to be sold from a club you grew up in. Very interesting and insightful into a football legends career and life.
