Hot Take: The Kerala Story is a heated, steaming mass of nonsense motivated solely by propaganda. I mean this is not anything I'm saying to justify wrongdoing. People are manipulated and brainwashed, that is correct. Well...but the facts stated in this film are false. Films like this not only trash a state, a gender group, and a religion but it also heightens tensions between different groups. Who benefits from it? The propagators of this falsehood! Furthermore, because of these tensions, extreme groups can further brainwash people by presenting the same tensions as an example and the cycle goes on! And who pays the price? Apparently the ordinary people while dominant groups continue reinforcing their ideologies.
