This is not a hallmark love story where two individuals fall in love through a series of practical events. These people are in a long-term relationship and with that comes arguments. This movie is like what it would be to sit on a couch while two people are having an intimate screaming match with each other. In terms of the plot,,, it views like an unedited essay from freshman year of high school. There are excellent points being made but they're repeated so many times, it loses its potency. However, the acting, cinematography, and score really lift this film. I could watch it over and over again for those things alone. Don't let the bad reviews stop you from watching. This movie shines best in its quiet moments and forces you to reevaluate your own relationships. Are you there for your partner the way you should be?
