I loved Halloween Wars back when there were ACTUAL pumpkin carvers. To omit them is a big FAIL on Food Network's part. It has become just another generic cake decorating show. ZZZZZ's!!!! Zak Bagans as host is a terrible idea to begin with. His humor and personality are as dry as a mummy's bandages. Even though Jonathan Bennett's humor was goofy and corny, it was still fun to watch. The only glimmer of Halloween Wars that still proves it's Halloween Wars is Shinmin Li. She may be overally critical at times, but she has more expertise than Aarti Sequeira and Eddie Jackson. Food Network needs to seriously get their act together and to stop putting out all this trash they pass off as entertainment; there is nothing entertaining about watching a show whose host only appears for about 60 seconds on a small tv and who has no real credibility anyway when comes to capturing paranormal activity on camera. My advice to anyone who hasn't heard of or seen Halloween Wars: check out the earlier seasons with Justin Willman or Jonathan Bennett.
