Shameful casting and direction. I think the filmmakers were allowed only had one take for all scenes and aimed to drag the pace. So much better acting from politicians than the players in this horribly boring "horror" flick. So much potential to be the modern-day Chucky, but failed miserably. Television noise or reruns of Julia Child's cooking show would be more entertaining.
