Nothing too fancy, minuscule in scale, 'El Camino' is a very personal love letter/epilogue/encore piece to one of the best-written TV Dramas produced - Breaking Bad, by focusing on its other leading character, "Jessie Pinkman", and closing out his story arc.
It's been 6 years since the final episode aired. However, the movie picks up literally minutes after the events of the final episode.
It is a Jessie Pinkman story all the way, with the exact vibe and beat of a Breaking Bad episode, in spite of the 6-year hiatus. With moderate production values, a small budget, and a raw and edgy performance from the charismatic and ever-dependable Aaron Paul, this was the perfect goodbye to the beloved TV series, and the Breaking Bad Movie you didn't know you wanted!
