D'ya know what? My husband played the game...every hour/day whenever he could and I watched. Quite enjoyed watching him actually. Have to say I wanted to watch the series (cus of all of my experience🤨). I absolutely loved it. You don't have to have played the game (it helps for familiarity) but it's blooming good (my hubbie says it's the best game to TV he's seen). Fingers doubly crossed for series 2
