This movie ruined what little hope I had left after The Last Jedi for the star wars franchise. I have numerous continuity and other issues but the main ones are that the last Jedi established that Rey was no one of importance and that is fine whatever and then she is palpatines daughter because the empire to time to start a family. The emporer returns because people don't know how to write new and interesting villains for star wars movies. The fight scenes weren't all that entertaining. Rey was given every single force power with 0 difficulty because the writers are lazy. The whole thing just stinks of lazy writing and felt more like a toy commercial than anything else. Not to mention last Jedi makes all space battles irrelevant because you're telling me that out of that entire resistance fleet there weren't 300 desperate or zealous pilots willing to pull a holdo maneuver.
