Easily my favorite Disney era star wars movie. It adds to the Original Trilogy without destroying a single aspect of it... can't say that for Obi Wan, the Sequels, nor the Acolyte... If you also liked Rogue One, I HIGHLY recommend Star Wars Andor as it builds upon the character Cassian Andor from Rogue One, giving him a very compelling backstory with more rich Star Wars lore.
Spoilers:
But Rogue One itself was an amazing film, the characters were all great, explaining how the death star plans got into the hands of Leia and the rebels adds so much more stakes at hand(there were already the stakes of valuable information being taken back by Vader himself, but now we also have the stakes of Cassian Andor and Jyn Erso + all the other Rebels that gave up their lives on the planet Scarif for this chance at saving the galaxy from the Empire's wrath, losing the plans at that point makes their actions in vain, death for nothing). What an ending, so good. The planets also all have unique and very Star Warsy environments, extremely satisfying. The trooper designs were all really cool too. The side characters that use the force and his friend with heavy weaponry were fun while staying grounded, with a little bit of mystery the OG trilogy had around the force. Saw Gerrera(leader guy with the little breathing mask) might be this show's weakest part BUT that's only because they decided to tell the story of Andor afterwards... it sucks these projects aren't released in actual order but Saw didn't drag Rogue One down, I just barely knew who he was from the animated Clone Wars and seeing his last moments alive here didn't feel as rewarding as it could have if he had more of a recent backstory(which I assume we will get even more of in s2 of Andor when it comes out). Anyways, 10/10, one of the only great modern Disney Films imo
