Great film, although not a flattering depiction of India.

It's a film that tries too hard to have gravitas. In an attempt to portray a real coming-of-age story, it forgets the story part and tells a borderline boring boyhood. You can tell that the story is not set from the beginning. The kids act really well to start, then they lose their ability as the film goes on. The writing becomes worse in tandem. It has a great soundtrack, and the feat of the film alone makes it worth a viewing. It should have been better, though. Shame.

Too many people need to be told to like a movie in order to enjoy it. There is little to hate about this film, yet some people abhor it. The persnickety critics simply can't enjoy a heartwarming movie. The football scenes are super well done (although the running down the hill scene is a little slower than it should be). Each actor pulls their weight and the movie is wonderful. Some people watch movies expecting to hate them, and they end up hating them. Maybe try having an open mind and ignoring the reviewers. After all, it is not the critic who counts.

Good movie where you rightfully hate and like every character. Wish it ended with the earing breakup gag being used as a proposal, though. But hey, I'm not a writer.

Criticizing this movie for not being a Bob Ross biopic is dumb. It's like hating Airplane because it wasn't serious. This film is clearly a parody, and only an idiot would think this would tarnish the legacy of Bob Ross in any way. Nobody with any sense thinks this film is making fun of Mr. Ross, and I'm astonished at the negative reviews. Would you rather a biopic with fabricated events masquerading as truth? That's objectively more dangerous and disrespectful, yet people that dislike this movie would eat that garbage up! It is a hilarious movie. The jokes landed consistently for me. The gag of his paintings being the same is great. The whole film is wonderfully funny. Ignore the sad people that are self-imposed champions of the Bob Ross legacy. They don't like anything fun. It pains me that these loser-bozos gave this movie bad reviews, because it will discourage good movies from being made in the future. Instead, we will get another boring biopic with embellished truths being passed off as fact, and everyone will scarf it down!

1/25/2024 Definitely in Beta. It's really fun, I found myself wanting to explore more, but the the game stopped me. I can't complain about the concept, only the execution at the moment. I'm sure they'll fix most of these issues. - Gameplay gets stagnant, what with the same Pals and textures and environments. - Some resources (ingots, leathrr) are really a hastle to aquire. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. - Combat is very buggy. - The story might not be completable at the moment. - The open world is great, but it doesn't give you any reason to not search in higher level areas to get better Pals. Overall the level scaling is just unusual. I must say the game is enjoyable. I hope they will keep updating it and making it better. Maybe add more worlds or something to keep player retention.

So so good. Disregard all the naysayers and try it. The story is great

How can they have thought this movie was worth releasing? Everything is 1-dimentional, color grading is weird, and all too often the dialogue is obviously dubbed over. It's a piece of garbage. If the writers were trying to make every character hateable, they did a great job!

You find yourself absolutely hating every character at some point. Great show.
