The writing itself leaves little to complain, but those (though intended) incomplete endings left me thirsty. Making want more is one thing, giving nothing is something else entirely. Leaving a low rating because this book couldn't conform to my subjective interest.

I can't think of any points why I disliked this, but I didn't enjoy it that much either. Could be a matter of taste, though. I would've liked a bit more action.

Just how necessary are superheroes when every other house has one? What if Batman somehow found a clueless Kal-El, and took him under his wings? How does living a secret double life affect your normal everyday life when you have to maintain balance between running around the city breaking sound barriers, and memorizing chemical equations? As long as you're not looking for something to discuss on in your philosophy class or something like that, this series won't disappoint you. One of my favorite genres, fun exchanges, frequent passive 4th wall-breaking. Thanks Reynolds, for making a random kid somewhere happy. Actually made me miss the Potterverse and the Animorphs.
