His Three Daughters a strong Oscar contender for Best Picture !! Azazel Jacobs writes and directs one of the best films of the year .it's touching, its moving, its honest, its intimate, it's intense , its relatable and its swiftly paced . I want to believe this is his best work todate. From the captivating storytelling intimately crafted with sad monologues, Dialogues, uncomfortable conversations that will get u drawn emotionally into the film To The standout acting from 3 leads Natasha lyonne , Elizabeth Olsen, Carrie Coon that deliver magnificent raw performances that will leave u emotionally moved . And around of applause to Rodrigo Amarante who scores the music .. Set in a simple apartment in Brooklyn , HTD is a testament that you don't need millions of dollars to invest in CGI and special effects to deliver a phenomenon film . HTD has all the potential to be a strong contender at the Oscars if only Netflix could promote and campaign for it .

Whether you're drawn to spy thrillers or character driven dramas , this modern take on a classic tale is worth the investment. Mr & Mrs smith the series blends spy thriller ,action, drama , romance and comedy as the show takes the movie concept and explores the idea further and succeeds at telling a compelling story , with Relentless Pacing , Sharp writing, superb Directing ,stunning cinematography blended with timely comedy with on point jokes that hit hard to make u laugh out loud creating a delightful viewing experience that will keep you on the edge of your seats from start to finish , providing a perfect blend btn intense action sequences and heartfelt moments ofcourse with the incredible on screen chemistry between the multicultural couple with stellar acting performances from Donald Glover and Maya Eriskine is nothing short of electric. One of my stand outs is the Grammy and Golden Globe winner Donald Glover who was incredible as always bringing his humour and charisma to the character effortlessly in way that only he can do and also contributing to the writing and Directing of the show . What a talent. When Pheobe Bridge ( fleabag) announced she was leaving the show , no one could have ever thought we would get the incredible Maya Eriskine who gave a powerful and charming performance showcasing her versatility as an actress , well done and together with Glover they complemented each other effortlessly. Another standout aspect was ensemble casting , with a star stunned supporting cast of Sarah paulson , Sharon Horgon , Micheal Coel , John Turturo , Ron Perlman , Beverly Glover and others who all brought their A game adding more depth to the relationships and enhancing the storytelling. In conclusion Mr & Mrs is already a surprise TV package for the year . Let's wait for the awards to start rolling . Regardless being refereed to as a limited series, I feel there's so much potential with this incredible writing to explore more seasons.

9/10 A film based on a true story of a black mother ( mamie Till ) that never got justice for her brutally lynched son ( Emette Till , Bo) . A film that I would recommend that every black person should watch to be reminded of what America was in 1955 . Danielle Deadwyler gave one of the most outstanding performances by a lead female this year and deserves an Oscar mention, she really delivered an emotional and moving performance.

9.5/10 . it's more than normal that for 150 minutes Director Todd Field made me believe that this film is actually a real biopic movie only to realize its a fictional and that's what I call incredible directing . Well let's talk about the Extraordinary Cate Blanchett with yet another outstanding Career defining role and another Oscar worthy performance, Cate carries the film from start to finish on her shoulders and couldn't have thought of another better actress to suit this role and bring this Lydia Tar fictional character to life like she did . That was the best acting in a lead role by any female this year

9/10. Definitely by far one of my best films of 2022 .. Steven Spielberg giving us an insight to his early life and love for film making and no doubt his become one of the best film directors of all time but that's besides the point, Well told story , incredible ensemble, captivating moments in the film and lastly my mention goes to Michelle Williams for another outstanding and Oscar worthy performance, She was incredible 👏
