Looking at the reviews should be a clear view as to what is going on here: these books teach the fundamentals of limited government and personal sovereignty, as intended by our nation’s original founding fathers. Those who see no issue with how bloated, overreaching, and downright impotent our government is today will obviously be triggered by these ideas.
Indeed, many today seem to view our government as some sort of Benevolent Daddy whose job is to look out for us, protect us, and take money from us at every opportunity, only to squander those funds on things that never seem to actually make a difference in the lives of our country’s citizens. This line of thinking is truly unhinged, and I have no interest in hearing what those people think.
For those who want their kids to learn the principles upon which our government was actually intended to function, and potential consequences of continuing down the path of a dumbed-down public willingly submitting themselves to a nanny-state, these books are excellent. My family owns this entire series, plus the series intended for teens and older kids as well. It’s fantastic reading, and has helped my kids make connections between ideas that they certainly aren’t hearing anywhere else.
