After watching this film on 8 12 21 nearly 7 years after its release.. I have to say, this is a fabulous film! I don't agree with Roger Ebert's review 1.5/4 if you are about to rate this film as standalone. I did watch "the Best Exotic Marigold Hotel" and I loved this one as well as the first! Talking about the film, there are individual stories about different characters which they bring from the previous film of course. Though this film doesn't feel incomplete in any way. The film is shot mainly in Jaipur & some parts in Mumbai. Everyone in this film is trying to find some balance in their lives, trying to work out their relationships, friendships, etc and there is good humour around all the time. Not getting too much into the story, this film depicts all characters quite interestingly & Dev Patel's acting is fabulous. If you don't expect too much, you'll be in for some surprises. My thoughts?
